Ears Are Pierced

Suri has been entertaining the idea of getting her ears pierced for the past month or so... and she became determined that it was going to happen this past week. She was asking and begging for me to take her each and every day and each and every day I came up with an excuse as to why we couldn't go.  Its not that I didnt want her to get them pierced it is just that we have had so many issues with her ears in general that piercing them was an unnecessary harm I didn't want to deal with.

Friday morning (June 13th... the last Friday the 13th in 2014) Suri awoke and said " good morning Mommy, can we go get my ears pierced today").  That was the last time she would have to ask.  We go up, got dressed and called Suris Dad to ask if he wanted to be there. He did and we all met at Claires in Fashion Square mall for the big event!

Suri picked out the earrings she wanted, climbed up in the chair and smiled ear to ear. She didn't even FLINCH when the lady ( Logan) pierced her right ear, she then did her left one and Still, nothing but smiles from Suri. She was definitely ready to have her ears pierced and loved every minute of it!

We are so proud of you Suri Rose and we love your beautiful pink rhinestone earnings you chose. You are one brave, strong and determined little girl. I couldn't be more proud of you.

Friday afternoon, Suri began to run a fever.The fever has continued all weekend so I am nearly positive she has an ear infection :(   Started antibiotics Saturday and will follow up with the Doctor on Monday.
