Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!!  Today was Suri's First Thanksgiving. She looked so cute in her dress and boots with the fur! This was our first Thanksgiving without my Mom and to be honest, it just wasn't the same.  We did our best to remain cheerful, as we know that is how Mom would have wanted it. We celebrated Thankgiving at Ashley and Don's new house. Since there were 9 of us, we all ate our meal on their pool table. The table looked so pretty with the wooden cover on it and we had more space than we knew what to do with! Ashley had volunteered to fix the turkey (a Huge accomplishment for someone who rarely cooks!!) I know Mom was smiling down on all of us and would have been truly proud of how everything turned out. We began our meal by going around the table and everyone saying 5 things they were thankful for. I thought this was a fun tradition to begin as I feel it makes us slow down and count our blessings as sometimes we tend to take so much for granted.
Here are some of the pictures from today.
You would NEVER know we were eating on a pool table!

Remington was wondering if he was going to get a taste of  the food that smelled so yummy!
