With Easter just 1 week away, Suri began practicing her "egg hunting" skills today at Scottsdale Healthcare's Annual NICU Easter Egg Hunt at Chaparral Park. We were lucky to have made it this morning as yesterday Suri began to run a high fever (101.6 post Motrin and Tylenol). She was febrile through the night with no other symptoms.Today she was pretty much back to normal and woke up ready to see the Easter Bunny. That thought lasted up until we got into the car to actually go to the event and then she began to fret about her visit with the bunny and told me she no longer wanted to go... Luckily, reminding her that her friends Hannah and Calum were going to meet us there cheered her up... until she remembered the Easter Bunny... :)
She truly wanted no part of sitting on the Easter Bunny's lap but did agree to "help me" visit him! I was able to get close enough to get a photo and Suri's friend Hannah was happy to join us in each picture :)
It is always so nice to see all of our NICU graduates and their families when we have events like this. What were some of the tiniest babies are now up and running around hunting for Easter Eggs! So privileged to know some of God's most precious miracles.
