Happy St. Patty's day

Happy St. Patrick's Day Suri Rose! According to Wikipedia, St. Patty's Day was made a Christian Fest day in the early seventeenth century. The day is to commemorate St. Patrick and the arrival of Christianity into Ireland. But, instead of feasting on corned beef and hash (definitely not one of my favorite dishes however one of these days, I will offer it to you and let you decide for yourself if you give it a thumbs up or a thumbs down) we headed over to the railroad park after church ( and dined on Mac n cheese and hot dogs!). You were dressed quite festive in support of the occasion... your green tutu and shamrock leggings were a hit and many people were admiring how adorable you looked!
After playing for a couple of hours you were definitely a nap and fell fast asleep in your carseat before we even left the parking lot! After your nap, we went to the store to pick out a new bike! Spring is definitely in the air and the heat of the summer will be upon us in no time. You picked a hot pink Barbie Bike (it was actually your 2nd choice as the one you wanted had 16" wheels and it was too tall for you). 12 " tires are all you can handle right now but Im sure it won't be too long before we are having to upgrade to the 16"! Now, if only my back can survive teaching you how to peddle forward and not rocking back and forth on the peddles causing a rocking like motion as you peddle, hit the brake, peddle, hit the brake- life will be good! Sigh... we will definitely keep trying :) You definitely enjoy a higher view than on your little trike - wink wink.

Later today after all of your bike riding attempts, you decided you wanted to go to the park by our house and you wanted me to pull you in the bike trailer. As you sat and relaxed, I huffed and puffed my way to the park - it is up hill all the way ( but I definitely need the exercise) and down hill all the way home- yippee!

It is after weekends like this one that I would give my right arm to come home to a healthy home cooked meal, a clean house, clean laundry folded and put away, clean dogs and a yard with no weeds! Sigh...
Maybe someday, but until then, I had better take advantage of you sleeping soundly because Monday morning is just around the corner...

Thanks for a fun weekend Nuggs, I love you!

You LOVE your lovey
