Grandma's 86th Birthday

Monday, September 9th Grandma turned 86 years old. We all were able to get together and celebrate with her over the weekend. Our friends Tarja and Amalia came out to Litchfield park as well :-)
86 years old... and she is still going strong. Her heart is beginning to challenge her and her hearing is a constant battle for her. She finally found some hearing aids that helped her to hear but the arthritis in her fingers prevented her from placing them in her ear correctly so she had to go back to her original hearing aids and upgrade them. How frustrating it is to get old... it is amazing how the circle of life takes you right back around to needing help and assistance in so many ways. Her spirit is good and she on the move every day, driving around town to all of her appointments; doctors, hair and nails... whether or not she "should" be driving all around the town, is up for question. But her Blazer is her source of freedom.

Happy Birthday Grammy. We all love you very much!
