Suri's Top 5 (2.11)

This day has arrived faster than I had hoped it would and here I find myself writing the post that will close the chapter of Suri's past 2 years of life. Next month, my "baby" girl will be 3 years old. . . . (pure disbelief).

In reflecting back over this past month, I have said to my self many times what a fun month this has been. Suri is going through a remarkably fun stage and her personality almost changed over night. It seems as though as soon as we got home from vacation, Suri was a new child. She practically grew up overnight and has flourished into this little person who is articulate, thoughtful, playful, loving and affectionate... the list goes on... It's not that Suri hasn't always been those things, it just seems as though this past month has been a month with very few struggles and very few if any tantrums. Suri loves to please and she is genuinely proud of herself if she knows she has done something to make me happy. This past month, Suri has began to clean up after herself (and if anyone knows me, they know I love to have things mess free). Suri will clean up her toy room all by herself and then come and ask me to come see what she has done. She takes my hand in hers and leads me to her spotless toy room and looks up at me with a smile. Oh how I love her so!  She is such a good girl and makes me so proud every day!

This month Suri has started to really use her imagination. She is always wanting to play hide and seek and the funny part of playing this with her is that as long as her eyes are covered, she assumes I can't see her :-)  She's hilarious to play with. Suri loves to make believe about monsters on the floor, and witches. I have no idea where this has come from but she seems to really enjoy pretending they are going to get us!  She is set on being a witch for Halloween and wants to make sure she has a broom with her costume!!

Suri's Top 5 (2.11):

• Suri started preschool! Little Friends Montessori :-)  (and she leaves her lovey at home!!  Such a big step for her). 
• Favorite book is Doggone Dogs
• Gumballs are her new LOVE and she saves each and every quarter she can find to make sure she is prepared if we happen to find a gumball machine!
• She LOVES to work on her numbers. She can accurately identify all the numbers from 1-10, (still working on not getting the 6 and the 9 mixed up)- she can count to 30 unassisted. Speaking of numbers.... her shoe size is now an 11 wide!  Goodness gracious!!
• She tells me she loves me 100 times a day.... priceless!
