Life... as we know it: Eventful Weekend

This weekend was a busy weekend for all of us. Friday, we went over to Grandpa's house to visit with Betty. She is back in town from Denver and will be here for about 3 weeks. The last time she saw Suri was when she was born so it was fun to see her expression when she saw Suri. She couldn't believe how much she has grown since the little 6 pound bundle she saw last. It is always good to see Betty and I am looking forward to seeing her these next 3 weeks.

Saturday, Suri was able to attend her first Bat Mitzvah of our friend Emily Alysa Greenfeld. Emily is my good friend and co workers daughter. It was just 2 short years ago I was sitting at Temple Chai watching Ethan, Tina's son achieve his Bar Mitzvah. So many people were excited to see Suri. Many of my co workers were there and enjoyed their time holding her throughout the ceremony. About 1/2 way through, Suri decided to over fill her pants!!! Thank goodness for the onsie underneath her dress... needless to say, it found a new home in the restroom trash of Temple Chai : )

Sunday, Suri had her first "friends" birthday party to go to. Olivia had her first birthday party at her house and Suri, Zijah and I attended. The theme was "lady bug" and Olivia was as cute as can be. Everyone had a great time. I know with the blink of an eye, Suri will be turning one and I couldn't help but think that in a few short months, we will be celebrating her first year!
