As usual, I woke up and am already one week into the month of JUNE! Time is going faster and faster it seems!
Friday, we had Suri's weekly appointment at Cranial Technologies to have her helmet adjusted and we received some happy yet surprising news! Suri may only have 1-2 more weeks in her helmet as opposed to 5! She has grown so much her helmet doesn't have much additional room to allow for adjustments. Her cranial shape has rounded out to the therapists satisfaction and they do not foresee her having to go to a second band to complete the remainder of her 12 weeks! Hooray!! We are SO ready to be done with this helmet. It will be off just in time to enjoy the summer!!
Suri decided to spike a fever Friday evening and I would have bet dollars to donuts that she had a RAGING ear infection in her RIGHT ear. I was able to get her an appointment with the pediatrician at 8:20am on Saturday morning (they open at 8am... LOVE LOVE LOVE living 2 minutes away!!) and come to find out her right ear was NOT infected and her left ear only had a mild infection (probably never fully cleared from the one 2 weeks ago...) Hmmph... not that I wanted Suri to have another ear infection however her fever was high and she was miserable. If it isn't sue to a bad infection, what could it be? ? ? Teething?
We began another round of antibiotics and still today, she is running fever and feels everything BUT good.
With that being said, tonight, we went to a BBQ at Wendy and Jims. Suri took a nice long nap this afternoon and after 3 days of being cooped up in the house, mommy needed some stimulation! ha! Plus, we couldn't cancel on Wendy AGAIN, as we have cancelled before because Suri was sick.
So off we went to the BBQ. Jim was the master chef once again. Salmon burgers, Hamburgers and Hot dogs= YUM Deli sh.
Suri had a squirt of Tylenol, some Salmon burger, a nibble of fruit and she was ready for bed! We called it an early night and were on the road back home by 7pm. Nuggs fell asleep in the truck on the way home. She slept through a diaper change and an outfit change into her jammies. She was plum tuckered out.
It was great to see everyone and hopefully Suri will start to feeling better soon.
Here are some pictures of Suri from tonight... you can see she wasn't her super smiley self and therefore we weren't able to get pictures of her with everyone!
