Life... as we know it: Exciting "firsts"

The past few days, Suri has had a couple exciting "firsts". One related to potty training; her first "poop" on the potty (Yay! Yay! Yay!) and the other was her "first" movie in the Theatre; Nemo 3D! It's been an eventful couple of days around our house lately!

Im still somewhat in shock that Suri is doing as well as she is with potty training. We have been practically accident free since Friday. Suri has even been waking up dry in the mornings! She is mighty proud of herself as well :) On Friday evening, Aunt Lindsay invited us to go see Nemo in 3D with her and Jackson. Grammy, Aunt Ashley, and friends Melissa and Trenton went along too. Suri was in awe of the theatre lights when we first walked inside. She was so excited to see a "movie" even though I don't think she had any idea what that meant. Once we sat down, she lasted a whole 40 minutes before she looked at me and said "all done" and proceeded to raise her voice as I encouraged (begged) her to remain sitting. Oh well. Im not counting this movie as her first "official movie". We will just say it was her first trip to the movie theatres :). . . As we left, we told the movie theatre "see you again in a couple of years"!

Today, Suri had Bryson and his mom and dad - Jessica and David over for breakfast and a play date. Suri played extremely well with Bryson and we had no behavior issues. She remained in panties today and aside from a post playing in the pool sprinkle, she has remained accident free for 2 days! Yay Suri Rose.
Since I have decided to celebrate Suri's birthday with family this year, Bryson brought Suri an early birthday gift. She was so excited to open it, it was cute to see her on the receiving side of gifts as she is usually the one giving them. She LOVED her new panties (Bryson was the motivator for Suri's potty training initiative as she has been watching Bryson use the potty the last couple of times we have been together). It was funny how Suri chose the panties and socks over the 2 new toys they brought. I wonder if Suri will have her Aunties "fashion addictions" :)

While Bryson was over, Suri and Bryson played together in Suri's new playhouse compliments of our friends Tracy and Alexis. Alexis used to play in the playhouse when she was little and Tracy was generous enough to hand it down to Suri! They had it delivered even arranged to have it assembled for us! Mommy was so happy about that!
