Christmas is literally just around the corner and in the middle of all the insanity taking place around us, Suri and I decided to Spend Saturday morning at the Zoo! We arrived in time to feed the Giraffes and Suri LOVED it. She wanted to do it again and again. If it were not so darn expensive to feed the gentle giants one leaf of lettuce, we could have stayed there all day! The Zoo is definitely a cheap place to visit, even when you do have Membership! Suri also rode the Polar Slide for the first time. Since you have to be at least 38 inches to ride, the attendant was amazed that Suri is newly 2 years old and almost 39 inches tall! Suri LOVES to up high and to go fast and therefore LOVED the Polar Slide and was able to ride it a couple of times.
We also visited the monkeys for the first time! It was so neat to be so close to them without a barrier. The little guys had us surrounded and their little faces are beyond adorable!
Overall, the Zoo was the most active I have seen it in a while! Suri was able to see quite a few animals and aside from being exhausted when we left, she truly didn't want to leave! After she woke up from her nap, the first thing she said was that she wanted to go back to the Zoo!
Before I forget, Friday morning was Medal day at Swimming. Suris Dad came to watch her swim and was very proud of how well she is swimming! Yay Suri
