Desert Ridge Splash Pad

It's that time of year again... SUMMER has officially arrived and has greeted us with a hot 106 degree day on the 1st day of June. Suri has been wanting to visit the splash pad again (she went the other day with Mary Beth, Willa, Calum and Hannah while I was at work)  so we decided to meet her Dad there this evening. We arrived a bit later than we planned as Suri decided to take one of her marathon naps and didn't wake up until close to 5 pm!  Fortunately she slept away the clear skys and by the time we arrived it was pretty overcast outside which made for nearly perfect splash pad weather.  After cooling off in the water, we had some dinner at Smash Burger (always amazed at how much Suri eats!!) and played with some new friends in the play area. Suri went on a mini shopping spree with her wallet and bought a new necklace and bracelet that she wore proudly. Despite the long nap, Suri was in bed asleep by 8:15... she doesn't last too long during these hot summer days :)
