Prowl and Play at the Phoenix Zoo

Tonight was the opening night for the Phoenix Zoo's Prowl and Play event - the first of 3 nights this summer the zoo will be open from 6pm -9:30 pm. Suri had been looking forward to it all week - she loves going to the zoo! 6pm and 105 plus degrees made for a toasty evening with a somewhat tired toddler. Suri held her own though and had quite a fun night with her cousin Jack and her friends Madeleine and Brayden. I left the zoo with one sleepy little girl :)

Suri was so happy to be with her cousin Jackson!

Searching for the stingrays

Face painting... and of all the things Suri could have chosen, she wanted a SPIDER!!!!

From face painting to the spray pad... = smeared spider face paint! :)

Suri Rosey Posey :)

Here are a couple of photos of Suri at Mary's house. She enjoyed picking vegetables out of Mary's garden and eating them of course ( she picked cucumbers, tomatoes, beans, peas and lettuce) her favorite were the cucumbers- peas and green beans ).  Suri also made friends with Midnight, Mary's son Zack's cat. She loved carrying him all around. Not sure where my child obtained her love for cats (Hello Kitty and now Midnight...) she apparently didn't inherit her Mommy's sever allergy to them- good for her, but still there will be no cats in OUR house :)

Suri and Midnight
(good thing Midnight is used to being carried around or Suri's visit would have turned his world upside down) She carried him around everywhere!

Suri was eating the green beans faster than she could pick them :)

She spotted a giant cucumber

Taa Daa!  A CUCUMBER

She has quite the bag of salad in her hands

Washing her vegetables before eating them :)

A fun afternoon at Mary's house and a great learning experience in the garden!
