First Week of February

It is hard to believe it is February already! We practically just blinked and January was gone! The past couple of days have been extremely cold here in Arizona setting records for temperatures below freezing! Last week we were in the 70's and this week we are in the 40's!  Gotta love global warming.

Suri had another great week. On Monday she began to lift her knees to her tummy! Yay! She actually did it in the bathtub for the first time and when she liften her feet up in the air, she splashed a bunch of water in her face!  The look on her face was priceless. She didn't know what to think. She is not quite touching her toes quite yet but she is definitely beginning to meet her milestones. She is getting better and better with her tummy time. It is not her favorite event of the day but she is getting stronger at lifting her head up.

Today Suri had her first Physical Therapy appointment to evaluate her Torticolis. She developed Torticolis in utero due to her positioning and we have been struggling with her stretches ever since. Her appointment was at 4pm which I figured may not be the best time of the day for her as she is usually exhausted at the end of the day after being at daycare. Sure enough, she was everything BUT cooperative. She was tired and fussy throughout the whole session. Miss Jackie tried her best to evaluate and stretch her but Suri was fighting her every step of the way. She is such a passive baby, it was quite funny to watch her fight her therapy with such a firey spirit.

Before we went to Therapy, we had to stop by the NICU to say "hi" to some of my co workers. Everyone couldn't believe how L O N G she is. They were all so happy to see her.
