Our Day with Max

Today was a special day for Suri and I as we were priviledged to have been asked to watch Max Samual Kaplan for the day while his mommy had to have a procedure and his daddy had to work. Just shy of one month old, Mr. Max allowed me to reminise back to the first few weeks as a new mommy to Suri. Today sure painted a vivid picture as to how fast Suri is growing. Compared to Max, she's not a baby at all but a smart, competent, loving and interactive little girl who is growing up all too fast.
Suri loved to watch Max, she would watch me talk to him and hold him and she would try to help me give him his paci. Of course, at times she would try to snatch his paci and claim it as her own and she enjoyed the fact that Max was still to small to fight back!  ( Don't worry Heidi and Josh, I was quick to intercept : ) Max was a perfect angel today. Sleeping the majority of the day, he woke to eat and to have his pants changed... aahhh, back to the days of a new born....

Suri's Great Grandma came to spend some of the day as well as Grandpa stopped by for a lunch visit. Suri aslo had Physical Therapy with Jackie... we had a full house today!

Despite the tugs at my ankle ( from my new little crawler), holding, changing, feeding and soothing of two little nuggets under 1 year of age, I managed to snap a few pictures throughout today( yay me!)

Nothing like a full belly...

"I'm going to hold my paci in my mouth so Suri can't snatch it"

I marvel at his thick blonde hair (it's not every day you see blonde hair on a new born : )

Happy to see Grandpa

Tricky photo... helping Suri to hold Max WHILE trying to take the picture... : )

Two little Blessings... Suri Rose and Max Samuel

  1. Blown away by the pictures of Suri and Max. I may need to steal, print, and frame. Max came home happy, rested, clean, and full bellied. What more could A mom ask for. :)
