Of course with any winter storm comes the hibernation of Suri Rose... she has always been effected by changes in the weather and goes into what I call "hibernation". Basically, she woke up a full hour later than normal this morning and took about a 3. 5 hour nap this afternoon. It is so funny how she just sleeps and sleeps... I'm really going to be in for it when she becomes a teenager...
Once Suri woke up from her nap, we headed over to Grandpa's house for a while. Grandpa made a pork chop dinner and Suri was able to eat dinner "family style". Jackson and Suri played dress up at the end of the night and as always, there were smiles from ear to ear.

Once we arrived back home, Suri still had some fuel in her reserve (normally she falls asleep on the way home). So we played for a while and then Suri fell asleep in my bed. She has been doing this the past week as she is boycotting the rocking chair. It could be that since she is so LONG, Mommy has a hard time holding and rocking her! She loves snuggle time in Mommy's bed and usually falls fast asleep. Once she is asleep, we make the transfer to her crib (although it is very tempting to just let her remain asleep cuddled next to me).
I'm not far behind Suri, I'm going to take full advantage of the sound of the rain on this cold Sunday night. Summer will be here before we know it but in the mean time, Monday is just a few hours away...
