Life... as we know it: Splash pad and Ice cream

Weekends in June seem to have somewhat of a theme... you are either indoors somewhere enjoying the cool AC or you are outdoors in the water. There really is no other choice as the thermometer is about as high as it can go when the weather is 100 plus degrees! Suri and I spent our weekend mainly in the water. Saturday we tried out the pool at Mc Dowell Mountain Ranch aquatic center. Suri had fun in the pool and I think half of the city of Scottsdale was there having fun too! Yes, it was a busy place and if Suri didn't require my undivided attention when around water, there would have been plenty of sights to see. ha.
This afternoon we met up with Suri's Daddy at the Desert Ridge Splash Pad. After spending so much time in the sun at the pool yesterday, I figured it would be best to find some shade to relax in. Suri is always ready to play at the splash pad and today was no different. She was excited to see her Dad and enjoyed showing off for him in the water. While Suri was playing in the water with her Dad, I snuck away to the ice cream shop to buy a couple of ice cream treats for them to enjoy. Suri usually only eats ice cream cones with her Grammy and I so today she was extra thrilled to be able to enjoy one with her Daddy.
After the splash pad, Suri and I went over to Grandpa's house to say hello to Grandpa and Grammy. Suri adores her Grandpa and was happy to get to spend some time with him today. For the first time, Suri said " Grand-Ma" as clear as day. Usually she calls Grammy something like "Bah-bee" but today she ran to her and said "Grandma"! We were all so excited.
Tonight while getting ready for bed, Suri was having a difficult time breathing. She has been doing real well lately with few respiratory flare ups but her coughing has been increasing the past few days and our nights have been somewhat rough again... we are back to Pulmicort 2 times per day again and Zyrtec at night. Unfortunately, Suri's coughing spells flare up when she is sleeping and rob her from a restful nights sleep. Hopefully upping her breathing treatments to 2 times per day will help her, if not, I may need to take her into see her Pediatrician to see if she needs some antibiotics to help clear the mucous in her chest that is causing her to cough. The plan was to be able to wean off the breathing treatments for the summer months beginning in June if Suri was able to breathe comfortably. Unfortunately, June came around and Suris work of breathing increased. . . . It seems as though it didn't get the MEMO : (
