Incident Report x 2

This past week at school was a bit rough on Miss Suri. On Tuesday when I went to pick her up from daycare, she had a nice raspberry above her left eye, compliments of the bookshelf!  This whole "learning to walk" is taking a toll on Suri! Her teacher said she took a tumble and her head met the bookshelf. Poor Suri. Unfortunately , I have a feeling this is the first of many more bumps and bruises to come.

On Wednesday, just as the raspberry had started fade, I got a call from Suri's teacher who informed me that Suri had been bitten by one of her classmates. Suri's teacher assured me Suri was doing okay, just a bit tearful. When I arrived to pick her up, she had quite the track marks on her chin! Which ever little person bit her, really did a good job! It appears to me as though he/she had to have been laying on top of Suri as there were teeth marks on the top and bottom of her chin... quite the strategic bite! Supposedly Suri had a toy that the other child wanted. Lack of verbal articulation resulted in a chin chomp. Once again, Poor Suri Rose. Daycare was tough this week.

I didn't get any pictures of her battle wounds from the week but here are a few of Nuggs these past few days.

When Suri wakes up in the mornings, her hair looks like a small creature made a nest in the back of it. Her hair has always done this. A downfall of fine hair...

Check out that bed head!  She loves to take her socks off
Still haven't quite mastered walking up/ down the step

Lovin this "walkin thing"

These next few are of Suri in our front yard. She found a lemon and was quite intrigued...
She also loved the fact that she is now able to walk around. She would stay outside all day if she could!

Loving Life Outside

Slow down there Suri, you are going to take a tumble...

Just as I thought...

When Life Throws You Lemon's, Make Lemonade!
(and do it with a smile. . .
Love, Suri)
