Boo at the Zoo

On Sunday I took Suri to Boo at the Phoenix Zoo, an annual event that the zoo has where families can come dressed in costume and partake in various activities. Suri wore one of her Jasmine outfits (not her actual costume for this year but one of her dress up outfits). Most of the activities were too advanced for toddlers but Suri had fun seeing the giraffe, Zebra and Elephant. She visited the petting zoo but wasn't too into petting any of the goats this time. She was exhausted after a couple of hours and was asleep in her car seat before we pulled out of the zoo's parking lot! Festivities with toddlers are short and sweet these days :)

Not too thrilled to be sitting on a bundle of pokey hay!

She truly wanted to be brave and visit the fireman but once I started toward him, she began to resist. I can already foresee how our visit with Santa is going to go this year....

Later in the day, Suri and I went to meet Bryson's new baby sister Julianna. We stopped at GiGi's cupcakes on the way and brought the Dwork's some "sweets" to welcome their sweetie!
Suri was so excited to be able to play with Bryson. She also enjoyed helping me feed and burp Julianna (she loves to "burp"  her baby dolls and was so happy to help me burp a REAL baby :)

Julianna was as sweet as could be and reminded me of Suri as she had a head of dark hair and was wearing one of the outfits Suri used to wear...
definitely brought back sweet memories. Welcome to the world baby Julianna. Suri can't wait to play with you!

Julianna Michaela Dwork- 2 weeks old

Bryson was thinking... "and just what does she think she's doing with my sister"...
