| Happy 2nd Birthday Suri Rose |
This morning at 6:10am Suri woke up and the first thing she said was "Mommy, Suri's Happy Birthday"! Her memory has yet to fail her :) Before she fell asleep last night, we discussed how special today would be and we sang Happy Birthday to Suri numerous times before saying our prayers and going to sleep. Suri was so excited for her birthday :)
Today we spent the morning at the Children's museum of Phoenix. Suri's Dad met us there and we all played at the museum along with every other child and parent in the city of Phoenix! Yes, it was BUSY and Suri was quite overwhelmed with all the commotion. She lasted a good 2 hours though and got to do everything she was looking forward to doing (paint, ride the cars and visit the market).
Suri fell asleep on the ride home and when she woke up she was excited to see some of her birthday presents from her Daddy and I. She had fun opening them up and wanted everything that needed Assembly to be assembled ASAP :)
We met back up with her Dad at Peter Piper Pizza for dinner and by that time, Suri was officially exhausted. She was running every which way and jumping all around. Eating pizza was the last thing on her agenda! Unfortunately her energy ended her up in URGENT CARE with another nurse maids elbow after jumping off the bowling table. I instinctively went to grab her while she was in mid jump and unfortunately her left elbow dislocated on the spot! Luckily Urgent Care was just across the street and after 2 xrays to rule out a fracture, the physician was able to reduce it and we were on our way. Definitely a bum way to end a fun Birthday. Suri didn't last 5 minutes in the car before she was sound asleep.

ReplyDeleteThere are a few pictures where you can really see what she's going to look like "all grown up"! My favorites are the ones where she is opening her gifts- such uninhibited JOY! Happy birthday, Suri Rose, we sure do love you!!
