Good Food & Good Friends

Stacy and Sarina are back in town for Christmas. We had planned on going to Zoo Lights (at the Phoenix Zoo) tonight however the weather did not permit. It had been raining on and off all day. It is not too cold outside but the rain was the deal breaker. We decided to go for pizza instead. Stacy and Sarina had never been to Mellow Mushroom (can you tell I like that place...) so we went there for dinner. As always, the pizza was delicious. Miss Suri did what she normally does when we go there....SLEEP. When we returned home, Stacy wanted to hold the baby who she heard is all smiles during the day. The last time Stacy was here, Suri was fussy and she kept her smiles to herself. Tonight, since we had to wake her up, she was not exactly the happiest baby on the block but she did have a moment of contentness (just long enough to snap a few pictures). I promised Stacy, one of these days she will get to see Suri when she is HAPPY : ) Sarina was all smiles tonight. She is looking forward to Santa visiting her and is trying to be on her very best behavior. Sarina was all smiles for the camera : )

It is now almost 10pm and Suri was once again successful at putting herself to sleep. She is such an easy baby - for the most part (wink). The weather is supposed to be cloudy, cold and rainy tomorrow. It is the last day this week that we don't have any "official" plans. We may go see Aunt Lindsay and help her bake some Christmas cookies. We haven't seen her since she has returned from Texas. I am sure she will think Suri has changed a bit from when she last saw her. If we end up not going to see Lins, we may stay in jammies all day and take advantage of the "down time"... pretty soon, there is not going to be much of it anymore.
